ULiège organizes the first edition of its "Festival of Cultures", Thursday December 7th 2023. A unique possibility to discover and experience dozens of cultures and travel the world all while staying in Liège!

The concept

I

nspired by « Festival of cultures » organized at the University of Oulu in Finland (our UNIC partner), the aim of this event is to highlight the diversity present within our institution and to underline the importance of human links.

A unique opportunity for local students and staff to discover cultures from all over the world, and to support the integration of international students/researchers/staff at ULiège. It is thanks to them that our university is so open to the world and so international!

This event doesn't focus on one country or its politics, but rather on the culture of each country. It is therefore open to all, regardless of origin, and has no political affiliation.

For who?

The entire ULiège community (students, researchers, staff, etc.) is invited to take part in this event. Come and share your culture and learn more about others!

Practical details

Admission to the festival is entirely free.

To benefit from a free lunch, we ask you to register. A ticket will be given to you at the festival entrance.

How to access to the festival ?

Free shuttle buses will be available from the campuses:

• From Liège city center, place du 20-Août (bus stop 48): departures at 11 a.m. and 12 a.m. / returns at 1 p.m., 2 p.m. and 3 p.m.
• Campus Arlon: departure at 10.45 a.m. and return at 2.30 p.m., registration to the shuttle through the event registration form
• Campus Gembloux: upon request through the event registration form

You can also reach the event by car (parking ...) or by public transport by yourself (stop "Amphithéâtres").
