15th anniversary of the EMSHIP program

To mark its 15th anniversary, in the lush setting of the Union Nautique nestled in the heart of Parc de la Boverie, the Erasmus Mundus Master’s program “ ” (EMSHIP) celebrated on June 13, 2026, an exceptional academic and personal journey through an alumni event bringing together graduates from all corners of the world. This master’s program focuses on naval, maritime, and offshore structures (including wind power).

Since its inception, the program has brought together 15 cohorts of students representing more than 50 nationalities and has fostered an international network of over 300 alumni. 

Originally coordinated by Professor Philippe RIGO of the Faculty of Applied Sciences at the University of Liège, and now led by Ghent University, EMSHIP continues to strengthen ties among its alumni and promote excellence in a spirit of openness, collaboration, and innovation on a global scale.
