ULiège is a university with a global outlook. We currently have almost 4000 international students on our campuses. Every year, we welcome new members from abroad with a friendly evening reception at an iconic location in Liège.
This special evening offers you the opportunity to meet representatives from the University and its Faculties. They will extend you a very warm welcome on this occasion.
This event is primarily for newly arriving international students for the 2026–2027 academic year—student ID numbers s26xxxxxx. Admission is by invitation only. If you think you are one of the new international students 26-27 and you have not received your invitation, please contact the service welcome.international@uliege.be.

6:00 pm : Reception
Venue: Salle des Professeurs (Level +1, Place du 20 Aout 7).
Welcome address and presentation of the Welcome ULiège International
Aperitif
Cocktail reception with special guests:
- Authorities from ULiège,
- Faculty members
- Administrative staff
- and the Student "Fédé"
10:00 pm: End of the event
Mobility students (Erasmus) benefit from another welcome program and are not invited to this evening.

If you are coming from the Arlon or Gembloux campus, transportation could be organized. Please make sure to indicate your interest when filling out the registration form.
The event will be held in the "Salle des Professeurs", Place du 20 Août, in the city center of Liege.
