Documents to be compiled 

1. A copy of your valid passport or travel document in lieu thereof
2. Proof of payment of the administrative fee, if you are subject to this obligation
3. Annex 1 - standard form for obtaining a visa or residence permit as a student - Document provided by ULiège, sent to you at the same time as the letter of admission by email (including for exchange students)
4. Proof that you will have sufficient means of subsistence for the duration of your stay
5. Proof that you have or will have health insurance covering all risks in Belgium for the duration of your stay
6. A medical certificate attesting that you do not suffer from any of the illnesses listed in the appendix to the law of December 15, 1980
7. An extract from your criminal record or equivalent document, issued by your country of origin or last residence, less than six months old, certifying that you have not been convicted of a felony or misdemeanor.

You must submit your application no later than 15 days before the end of your stay. The residence permit expires on October 31 of the year following issue, and the application must be renewed annually.

4. Proof of registration with a mutual insurance company
5. An attestation of academic progress: this is Appendix 2 - standard form - attestation of academic progress - document available on My ULiège, by selecting the previous academic year (once you have re-registered and validated your EAP)
