Study abroad opportunities in countries participating in academic development cooperation for Master’s students—including those in specialized Master’s programs and Bachelor’s students (who have earned 120 ECTS credits).

The University of Liège (RI-PACODEL) offers scholarships to support your final thesis research or an internship in one of the 31 partner countries of academic development cooperation.

Purpose of the Scholarship

This financial support enables students to carry out, within a development context:

• Research as part of a final project or thesis.
• A credited internship as part of their degree program.

Funding

The grant includes:

• Travel allowance: to help cover the cost of travel to your destination.
• Living allowance: A monthly stipend to cover your living expenses while abroad.

Eligibility 

For your application to be accepted, you must meet the following requirements:

• Profile: Master’s student, Master’s student in a specialized program, or Bachelor’s student (who has earned at least 120 ECTS credits).
• Destination: One of the 31 partner countries in academic development cooperation.
• Duration: An internship/final thesis agreement of at least 60 days.
• Period: Departure scheduled between June 1 and December 31, 2026.

All criteria (destination, period, duration) must be met for the application to be considered.

How do I apply?

• Fill outthe application form 
• Attach the required supporting documents(see the complete list in Section VI of the form).

Timeline

• March 19, 2026: Call for proposals opens
• Until April 30, 2026, at 12:00 p.m.: submission of applications
• Starting May 15, 2026: announcement of results
• June through December 2026: mobility period
